Function:
Installed after the diesel particulate filter (DPF), this sensor continuously measures soot concentration in the exhaust stream. The ECU uses this signal to:

• verify DPF regeneration efficiency
• detect soot slip or filter degradation
• optimize regeneration cycles
• maintain Euro 6 emissions compliance and diagnostics accuracy

⚠️ Important
This is a DPF particulate matter (PM) sensor, not a NOx or pressure sensor. It directly measures soot concentration downstream of the DPF and is critical for JLR Ingenium diesel emission control and regeneration strategy.

Fitment must always be confirmed strictly by OEM number (LR114279), as JLR frequently supersedes this sensor across model years (e.g., LR146855) and calibration updates.
