Function:
Installed after the diesel particulate filter (DPF), this sensor continuously measures soot concentration in the exhaust stream. The ECU uses this signal to:

• verify DPF regeneration efficiency
• detect soot slip or abnormal emissions

• maintain Euro 6d compliance and diagnostic accuracy
